Rusack Vineyard Pinot Noir 2023

The grapes for this Pinot Noir are sourced from the Santa Maria AVA which is located in the cool Northern most growing area of Santa Barbara County. It is influenced by morning fogs and afternoon breezes from the nearby Pacific. Aged for 11 months in 32% new French oak barrels, this is a wonderful expression of what cool climate wines can be. Light ruby red color in the glass. Attractive aromas of dark cherry, woodland spice and cola. Charming mid weight cherry goodness in a feminine, lacy style. Juicy, with suave tannins and just a hint of sandalwood. Admirable harmony, with a very long and expansive finish.
